We have our take off breakfast from 6-6:30am tomorrow morning and then our final briefing from 6:30 to 7am. Then it will be a mad dash to the airport (10 mins) in shuttles and rental cars. We take off at 8am. So the plan is to get to get fuel in Gallup, NM and then off to Hereford, TX . That will be more than 5 hrs of flight time and a time change. Between 4-5pm Hereford time we will be deciding if we can move on to Goodland, KS which is another 2-1/2 hrs.
I just can't believe race day is upon us. Wow....we are ready to go. We are looking for a place to go do dinner early so we can turn in early. Wish us blue skies, tail winds and lots of lucks!!!!!
